My First Day at an Englishspeaking School
Dear Diary,
Today was the first day of my new adventure at an Englishspeaking school. I was both excited and nervous. The morning was filled with anticipation as I woke up early to get ready. I wore my new school uniform, a bright blue shirt and black pants, which felt a bit strange but also gave me a sense of belonging.
The journey to school was quite long, but the beautiful scenery along the way made it seem shorter. I arrived at the school gate just before the first bell rang. The school building was modern and looked very inviting. As I entered, I was greeted by a friendly security guard who showed me to the main office.
I met my homeroom teacher, Mr. Smith, who was very welcoming and introduced me to my classmates. They were all very kind, and we quickly began to chat. We discussed our favorite subjects, hobbies, and countries. I was surprised to find out that I had a lot in common with them despite the language barrier.
During the morning lessons, I was able to understand most of what the teachers were saying, thanks to the pictures and gestures they used. I also tried my best to speak in English, which was challenging but also fun. My classmates were very patient with me and helped me with the words I didn't know.
Lunchtime was a great opportunity to practice my English further. I sat with a group of students and we shared our food, discussing the different flavors. It was a very enjoyable experience.
The day ended with a short sports class, where we played a game of soccer. I was happy to see that my physical abilities were not hindered by the language, and I scored a goal! It was a perfect way to end a day filled with new experiences.
As I walked home, I felt a sense of accomplishment. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and all the new things I will learn. I hope that my English improves quickly, and I can make many new friends.
